Job Description
Our Westend Client is currently looking for an experienced Personal Lines Broker.
The successful candidate must service and maintain existing customer accounts utilizing a high level of customer service skills, underwriting skills and communication.
Duties:
* Have or gain a good excellent working knowledge of all markets available including underwriting guidelines, payment options, etc.
* Maintains continuity among the team by complying with procedures.
* Maintain Accounts Receivable with Zero accounts in the over 90 day column.
* Fully and accurately complete new business applications including relevant documentation attachments with a minimum amount of follow up.
* Apply effective and thorough frontline underwriting skills including account reviews at all times
* Conform to the licensing requirements of the AIC.
* Cross sell and up sell maintaining ‘whole client’ philosophy.
* Maintain up to date renewal lists with ZERO accounts not renewed.
Skills/Qualifications:
* Minimum Level 2 license with at least 2 years of experience.
* Ability to multitask and handle high call and walk in volume.
* High aptitude with computers and software such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
Salary range is dependent on experience.
